Together with our partner Wire Solutions, we look back on three successful days at the Warsaw Industry Automatica. One of the key highlights was the technical presentation by Kai Rienkens, which covered two central topics:

First, he outlined the application areas of the KWZ‑Splice compacting tool:

• Extending stranded wires
• Compacting cable harnesses
• Processing coated strands (e.g., tinned)

Second, he highlighted the advantages of micro‑resistance welding compared to ultrasonic welding – particularly regarding process stability, material flexibility, consistent and reproducible quality, and the significant cost benefits resulting from lower tool wear and reduced process costs.

The strong technical discussions and numerous follow‑up questions clearly demonstrated the relevance of both topics for modern production environments.
